I know some people (you know, the seemingly superhuman ones) who probably eat motivation for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They snack on it as well. I can learn much by observing their habits but also have much to lose by comparing myself to them.
This present moment is what you have. Let the past be a tool for today, not a master. This present moment is what you have. Let the possibilities of the future give you hope, not fear.
For fathers day this year I want to celebrate that I am a father who loves you immensely, protects you fiercely and guides you with an open hand. Through the good and through the bad, through the mistakes and the good calls, through thick and thin, that is the dad I am and can only hope will impact you to be who you are meant to be.
Well, this post isn’t about crying. Sorry. It’s about allowing our heart/soul/mind (whatever you want to call your inner place) to be touched in unexpected ways and letting that moment speak to you and do its thing.
